Make sure the water is turned off. Disconnect the pipes and hoses from beneath the sink. All you have to do is remove the screws and gently lift the countertop to ensure that you don t damage the cabinets. The stain is caused by using bleach to clean your countertop surfaces.

You may need a wrench or pliers to accomplish this step. It is important for the space where you ll be working to be clear when you begin the removal process.
